Drift off the end of a normal glider panel, then curve back to the track, this is called glider vectoring, and it is a bit faster than tricking, and your mini-turbo will automatically be released in the air.
If you enable tilt (motion) controls and tilt your controller the same direction as the joystick you will curve much harder and this is the fastest way to move in a glider!
But if you use a wireless controller, tilt controls can mess up your driving.
If you use a wired controller, you cannot input normal motion inputs, but there is a way; use the D-pad and move that in the same direction as your joystick. And you will get the same effect!
