You can trick by pressing the R/ZR button at the end of a ramp and this gives you a speed boost, but you can go even faster…
Airtime is slow, and tricks make you go into the air, but you can eliminate a lot of airtime by doing low tricks!
Every trick ramp has a trickable region, and if you trick at the very top you will get a ton of airtime, but if you trick as low as possible then you will get minimum airtime–and therefore go faster.
You should be doing low tricks on almost every trick ramp.
I will talk more about each track in my upcoming blog post series, “Track Guides” Each blog post will talk briefly about the strategy on each track, for all 96 tracks. I will post these about twice a week. Let me know what tracks you want me to cover first!
(I will still post daily for other blog posts)
