The September 2026 update
We got a brand-new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Now you will move slightly faster and the boo item allows you to drive off-road now and take massive shortcuts! Don’t believe it? Try it!
Bagging
Have you ever seen players driving backwards at the start of the race? This is called bagging; intentionally slowing down at the beginning of the race to get speed items to take massive shortcuts! You can check out some of Shortcat’s videos to help you improve.

Go to “online play” and select “Tournaments” on the bottom. These are different from competitive events. They are just custom rooms created by other players.

Hmmm… I think green Yoshi is my favorite as it’s the first one I ever saw and what comes to mind when I think of Yoshi but I also love blue, orange and pink Yoshi. They are all great! This is such a cool website — I am learning a lot!
